Introduction to the founder and VP of Belle Dame Boutique

Hi, everyone! I would like to introduce myself. I am Jamie Morales and for a while I wanted to be a silent founder. But now as we approach 1 year since opening our website, I would like to introduce myself to you.

Since a young age, I have enjoyed sewing and making clothes for myself. Then adulthood happened and life got busy. Fast forward a few years (ahem! We won’t elaborate on how many), I’m seeing the difficulty in finding beautiful modest clothing for women. So I decided to open my own store. Originally, I wanted to design and manufacture my own designs. However, reality strikes and that will not be possible until Belle Dame Boutique starts making a profit. So we are trying to find beautiful and unique clothing that is long and modest or easily made modest by layering etc.

On the personal note, I am married with five beautiful beagle babies. I am also a registered nurse. I work in our local county hospital as a float pool nurse. We are comprehensive stroke center, cardiac, and level 1 trauma/ level 4 NICU, transplant center etc. Basically we get the worst of the worst from all the other hospitals and other countries and states as well. Every day is a different day for me whether I am in the ER, trauma, stroke, cardiac, transplant, neuro-spine, urgent care, etc.

Because my job is rather taxing and I work long hours I knew I needed a good partner. So, I asked Yolanda Mack to be my VP of Operations. She is my right hand woman in helping me fulfill orders and with inventory etc. Yolanda used to own Demure Apparel and was able to help me navigate the apparel world.

We are a woman owned business and our purpose and goals are aligned in providing modest clothing. We are self funded so our inventory is small. But we hope it will grow and we can continue to provide and eventually design beautiful clothes for our ladies

Hi, I’m Yolanda Mack! You may know me from Demure Apparel. My Husband and I founded Demure Apparel back in 2016 and we had a couple good years and faithful customers that we so much appreciated. As life changed for my husband and I, it became difficult to focus on  Demure Apparel and the business stayed dormant for a while. Jamie approached me in 2024 with her passion to create beautiful clothing and her proficient objectives. I let go of Demure Apparel and became part of Belle Dame Boutique.

Personally, I am a wife to a supportive husband and a mom of four handsome boys. I attended college to be a teacher because I always enjoyed teaching and helping others. Thankfully, I now have the privilege of being a teacher at our church study center.

After all, Belle Dame Boutique is a relief to me because I never truly wanted to let go of Demure Apparel, but this gave me the opportunity to continue my love for selling truly modest clothes. I am here to assist Jamie however I can. Thank you for all your support, especially our family and friends. Love,
